The Red Road Art Tour is a community celebration of the artists who call Lower Puna home — an open-door journey through studios, gardens, and creative spaces along one of Hawaiʻi's most beloved stretches of road.

The official name of the Red Road is Kapoho Kalapana Beach Road (Route 137), but we affectionately refer to it as the Red Road since it was originally paved with red cinder.

Organized by a small team of Red Road artists, this inaugural tour invites you to meet the makers, experience the work up close, and feel the spirit of a community that creates together.

Participating artists will also be invited to a community artist meal and gathering and a free workshop focused on promoting and sharing their work ahead of the tour.
